industrial design student work by Jay Yi.

Do you have a distinctive eye for composition and form? Have you always loved figuring out how things work and coming up with ideas to make them better? Designers are responsible for the style and function of almost every manufactured good sold today. Industrial Design is a growing field which combines creative ideas and refined technical skills to develop manufactured products for furniture, electronics, toys, exhibits, automobiles, boats, medical equipment, sports equipment, appliances, tools, and many more. This profession rewards creative, imaginative solutions that consider function, value, and appearance of products. We’ll help you move your ideas from the sketch pad to the production line.

The Industrial Design bachelor’s degree program emphasizes the creative process and how to design innovative products that fit consumers’ needs. Students sketch design ideas, shape 3-D models, and produce mechanical drawings. Sharpen your problem-solving skills and find a better way with experienced instructors.
